President Obama’s big margins among Latino voters in 2008 have prompted rounds of new efforts among Republicans to win back a critical -- and fast-growing -- demographic.
Resurgent Republic, a newly formed conservative group, this month commissioned a poll on the subject. It found, among other interesting tidbits, that economic issues -- not just social ones -- could convince Latinos to vote Republican.
@AliciaMenendez good question. We've only done generic ballot tests so far (same as 2010). Might change once the nominee is settled.

What is Resurgent Republic?
Resurgent Republic helps policy makers, think tanks, interest groups and others advocate for policies that are consistent with conservative principles, and to oppose policies that stifle job creation, weaken national security and undermine values that have made America a great country.
